Have you ever ripped a book in a library?

I was reading a book (not mine) at the local library, and found a very useful section. I wanted to keep it so I ripped the section out completely forgetting that the book belonged to the library. I felt really bad, so I put it back. How immoral is this, and have you ever done such thing?
