Should I buy a chihuahua puppy for my 12 year old daughter?

My daughter wants a chihuahua because the are loving companions to play and snuggle with. She understands all that is involved with caring for this breeder in great detail. She has researched heaps about the breed on the internet and has ordered heaps of books about dog care and training from the library.She is not involved in any school activities,does not go out with friends so she has heaps of free time to care for a dog she is willing to spend all her free time with it daily and let it sleep in her lap while she does homework. I know she will spend all her time with it and clean up its messes and has been reading a lot about training dogs.She also knows a lot of information on choosing from a good breeder and has drawn up a feeding and house-training schedule for one. We are able to afford a good chihuahua puppy with vet visits and care supplies. She has also drawn up things we need to do to puppy proof the house. She gets mostly B grades at school. Though I'm concerned about if it is appropriate to buy a dog for a child. We got her a cockateil last year and she still independently takes good care of that bird. Should I buy her a chihuahua? I know she is very committed in caring for one for the rest of its life and knows it can live up to 18 years.

Should I choose a college based on education alone or places suitable for my health?

I'm going to be a Junior in high school this coming fall and my goal by the end of this summer is to have a list of my top ten college choices so I'd know what their requirements and such are so I know what I need to do. Why hasn't Obama received approval from Congress, but thinks he can still stay in Libya?

Actually, we are not at war with Libya. Congress did not need to approve the military action in Libya because it was not a declaration of war. The Constitution does state (Article one Section 8) that Congress shall have the power to declare war. But the key words are "declare war". There isn't a war with Libya just military action. If Obama declared war (by himself without congressional approval) then it would be a legal issue. But as it stands, there isn't a war, which means he did not side step the law. The only reason this is an issue is because this is just political. Its not an issue but it is politics.

My ex and I broke up about 2 months ago but after a month of us being broken up we decided to try and work things out. Well i think i am being haunted by this demon, it has been following me mostly my whole life. Now my name has 3 meanings, one of which means "devil spawn" and i am mentally insane and i have manic depression, but i do not think this is just in my head. It is worst when i am at my dad's house visiting. One night it called my name right before i fell asleep and then at some time in the night it screamed at me to wake up. I thought it was just a nightmare and tried to sleep but when i went to lay down i saw a shadow and then i threw me down onto the bed. I was hysterical and frantically called my friend in a rush of tears. The next day my sister was asking me all about it. And my friend, who is also mental...but she agreed that it wasn't just me. I was afraid to go to sleep and i also suffer from monophobia, the fear of being alone. I can't even take being near the stairs because once when i was little i heard steps behind me. Thinking it was my brother, i thought nothing of it. Then i felt something give me a shove down the steps. I took the tumble and when i looked up, there was nobody there. i was about 6 when this happened. I am only 13 now but since then i have developed a state of psychosis, monophobia, and manic depression. I am also still paranoid and was then as well. As my parents are divorced, i travel a lot to my mom's and my dad's. I think it follows me because at my mother's house, I was playing on my DSI and i saw a shadow on the door creep closer, but when i looked, it receded. I keep having night terrors about that one night when it attacked me. I have gotten to a state of praying for protection at night, but when i do things like this, asking people for help, it worsens. I put a bible by my bed but when i was in our library room i touched it an i heard a voice rasp "NO" then the railing on the stairs rattled. I dropped the bible and ran away. that night i had my brother put it on my night stand for me. It did nothing, in fact the phenomenon got worse. I feel like when i ask for help from the forums, it feels provoked. when i do this, it scratches the walls. when i pray at night it bangs the walls and scratches them. One night i was sleeping, wearing a low tank top, as it was summer. I awoke the next morning to find scratches on my arms, neck, shoulders, ankle, and on the tops of my breasts running to my throat. How do I get the pictures off my iPhone to iPhoto?

Well, I have a Macbook, OSX Snow Leapord. Awhile ago I used iPhoto to put pictures on my iPhone. Thus removing my photos form my computer. A while ago I moved iPhoto library to an external hard drive to make space, and now I've moved it back. However, when I open iPhoto, it still tells me I have no pictures. I think I may have created anotherfile or something that iPhoto is going to pull from, which is empty, or somethign like that. I also have the pictures on my iPhone if that can help me, but whenever I use like iphoto or the image grabber for Macs it just takes off the pictures I took with my camera on my phone. Why does Ares always search for shared folders everytime i close then program and re-open it. As soon as i close it..then open it again and go to My Library to look for the songs it automatically starts to scan. The only exception is when you import a track that iTunes does not directly support like WMA. When you import a WMA, iTunes converts the track to the format determined by your import settings and places it in iTunes music folder. The original file is left in its original location and can be deleted.

Thinking about getting a Kindle...would you recommend it?

It's awesome. The books still cost money so I would continue going to the library, but books that will take you longer to read or you want to keep/take somewhere you could get on the kindle. The cool thing about the kindle is that you can download a trial of each book, to read a section and see if you'll like it before buying. The screen is great too, it looks exactly like paper.

This is in no way intended to offend any black males/ females. As a 23 year old black male I have been constantly harassed and bullied by mostly black females in schools, colleges, public. They’ll diss me mercifully in front of people until someone has to jump in and tell them to stop. I remember when I was 11 and I came home crying because these group of black girls would constantly harass me 24/7 at school calling me blick, ugly, stink, monkey just for no reason. There were times when she will give me dirty looks for no reason or she’ll look for a reason to take her anger out on me and I could tell. Same for my elder sister who had a child and ran away and I had to end up helping to raise her with my abusive dad. She hasn’t been in contact with me for 7 years and when she usually does she never doesn’t want to know anything about me or her daughter, she’ll even insult me sometimes. Maybe it was because of my abusive dad and she is taking it out on me, same with my mother I don’t know. Not long ago, I started university to get away from the city I was experiencing such mistreatment expecting things to change but I still run into the same problems although it’s not as bad as before. I still get dirty looks, teeth kissing just plain negative attitude. Its like everywhere I go minding my own business, I’ll come across at least one black female who seems to hate me. Should My Family Stop Having Birthday Parties For My 40 Something Aunt?

I have an aunt who is pushing 50 but still insist on having child like birthday parties every year where everyone comes over, puts on hats, sings, eats cake and ice cream and gives her presents. I don’t know how to classify her as she seems intelligent but emotionally speaking is very immature and underdeveloped almost childlike. Why do people here on Y! that people want obama to be impeached. what are the charges for his impeachment?

He has broken federal law by undermining congress and the justice department on Libya. A president has 90 days to use our military in conflict without congressional approval. Obama has surpassed his 90 days on Libya yet claims he does not need congressional approval because it is not 'hostilities'. Well, if it's not hostilities, why do they need our bombs and planes? We are using the peoples tax dollars to pay for this and our military to carry it out and this guy thinks he does not need approval after his time limit is up? His ego is mind boggling. He has violated the War Powers Act by not immediately ceasing war efforts in Libya after 90 days.

I'm frm India a democratic nation. Recently there was a hunger strike to pass a bill. At last the govt. agreed and the strike was successful. I'm NOT agnst the strike but few strikes are needless and makes no sense. why does govt. fear the strike. I mean if I was to be the PM of the nation I wud have let the man die of hunger if its a publicity stunt and just 2get media bites. It gets worse and worse every year. Almost any movie that I watch shows a negative impression of men, from TV shows to movie theatre movies to advertisements on TV. College education ads mostly show women. Men's rights and study groups numbers are much lower than women's rights/study groups. I went to the library and found a large section of the library for women's studies. I was not able to find one anti feminist or pro male books. In the newspaper there are almost always a few articles about women's health, women's education, women's this and that.
